Risk Traverse Leadership at Westin Poinsett

Saturday, April 26, 12:30 pm

Tracey Abbott is a master of change. Growing up in Alabama with a single mom who earned her PhD at night, she learned the value of education in changing lives. Her work life is in 4 chapters: the entrepreneur from start up to scale, the international expert from an M.B.A in Paris to a decade as an expatriate, consulting at A.T. Kearney and Bain, and the private equity / sovereign wealth operating partner. Her current chapter began because she is convinced that enlightened leadership has never been more needed in our disconnected world, and her purpose is to bring out the very best in leaders.  Her forthcoming book, Dropping Nuggets: the Leadership lessons from the Boardroom to the Breakroom, chronicles her stories as a Chick-fil-A operator. She is deeply connected to her southern roots, having married her 4th grade sweetheart, and began her Henry Crown Fellowship venture in the inner city of Birmingham. She lives in Cold Spring, NY and Roatan, Honduras, where you can find her scuba diving as much as possible.
