Liberty Fellowship is pleased to announce the appointment of Kerri Forrest as Chair of the Board of Directors and Jason Tompkins as Vice Chair. Their leadership will help guide the organization as it continues its mission to empower leaders to drive meaningful change across South Carolina. 

Kerri Forrest, a Liberty Fellow from the Class of 2018 and a respected leader in the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors, brings a wealth of experience to her new role as Board Chair. As Vice President of Grantmaking & Community Leadership at Coastal Community Foundation, she drives initiatives that uplift communities across a nine-county region. With over a decade of experience in the non-profit and philanthropic sectors—plus a distinguished career in national journalism—Kerri brings a wealth of expertise in strategy, governance, and leadership. 

Jason Tompkins, a Liberty Fellow from the Class of 2014, takes on the role of Vice Chair. Jason is the Founder and Managing Partner of Asana Partners and has 28 years of commercial real estate experience in operations, acquisitions, dispositions, redevelopment, and capital markets. He has served as lead execution officer on more than $20 billion of private and public real estate and capital markets transactions. Jason brings a wealth of expertise in strategic planning and business analysis and development to his new role.
